At OSF St. Francis, women’s health is a lifelong commitment. Our expert care team is here for you throughout your pregnancy and after your baby is born. We offer:

• A private nursery, infant security, newborn screenings, a fetal monitoring system and more.
• OB and gynecology specialists, all with specialized training in high-risk pregnancies.
• Tele-NICU services that connect families digitally to our neonatal specialists who consult with your in-person team to care for little ones who might need extra attention, without the need for travel.
• A team of highly trained nurses and clinicians to support mom and baby before, during and after delivery.
• Full range of obstetric services, including high-risk obstetrics, diabetes in pregnancy, c-section and vaginal deliveries, epidurals, pre–conception counseling and more.
• Immediate skin-to-skin bonding with mom and baby, and providing care in the room as much as possible.
• Comprehensive breastfeeding support, including international board-certified lactation consultants to help nursing moms during their stay and after they return home.
• Extra support for pregnant and postpartum moms who have had a history of or are currently experiencing opioid use disorder.
