Interests outside the pharmacy: I enjoy going on long walks, traveling, baking and attempting DIY projects.

Why OSF?: I chose OSF for its diverse rotation offerings that provide a well-rounded experience, the opportunity to train at an academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center, and the strong preparation it offers for a PGY2 in my area of interest. My experiences as a PGY1 and the amazing team of preceptors made my decision to stay at OSF for PGY2 an easy one.

Interests outside the pharmacy: My fiancé and I love playing pickleball together and exploring new coffee shops. I also enjoy running and reading in my free time.

Why OSF?: I chose OSF for many reasons, but what stood out most was the incredible warmth and support I felt from everyone I met while networking and researching programs last year. From the very beginning, it was clear that OSF fosters the kind of welcoming and collaborative environment I was looking for in a residency. I’ve already begun forming meaningful connections and friendships that I know will support my growth both personally and professionally. I’m also especially excited about the wide range of elective rotations OSF offers and the flexibility to tailor them to my specific interests.

Practice Areas of Interest: Pediatrics, neonatal ICU, oncology, infectious disease

Research: Comparing the Rates of Incidence of Necrotizing Enterocolitis and Associated Morbidity and Mortality in Neonatal Patients Receiving Cefotaxime vs. Ceftazidime: A Retrospective Analysis

Interests outside the pharmacy: I love cooking, especially when I get to share it with others (high spice tolerance recommended but not required). I enjoy trying new cuisines and exploring different restaurants. I’m not very competitive, but I love playing board games with friends and just hanging out – chips and dip included. I’m also the kind of person who’s always up to tag along or be your “let’s do it” buddy.

Why OSF?: I chose OSF because it offers well-rounded training that aligns with both my clinical interests and long-term goals. I really value the supportive environment here – one that prioritizes learning and mental wellness, not just checking boxes. I’m especially excited about working with a diverse pharmacy team across both pediatric and adult specialties, and I look forward to growing as a teacher and preceptor, which has always been important to me.

Why OSF?: I chose OSF because of the strong sense of family and community among the pharmacy team and clinicians. I also appreciate the wide range of clinical experiences available. Most importantly, I knew OSF would allow me to gain valuable knowledge in my areas of interest through OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital of Illinois and the status of OSF as a Level 1 Trauma Center for both pediatric and adult patients.
