When you have a minor illness or injury, OSF OnCall Urgent Care makes it easy to get care.
When you visit, you may have the option of an in-clinic virtual visit with an OSF OnCall provider. This quick, convenient alternative offers the same high-quality care, just with your provider on screen.
The room includes advanced assessment technology that gives the provider the ability to look in your ears and throat and listen to your heart and lungs. Tests for things like flu and strep can be ordered during the visit and completed onsite.
No, you don’t need to have a primary care physician to be seen at one of our urgent care clinics. If you’d like, we can help connect you to a provider in your area for your future health and wellness needs.
This visit type is optional, so you can decline the opportunity to be seen by a virtual provider. If you do choose this visit type and have issues using the equipment, a care guide is available to assist.
We accept a variety of insurance plans, from employer-provided insurance to Medicare and Medicaid. See a complete list of accepted plans.
We also allow patients to self-pay, a great option for self-insured or high-deductible plan participants. We can accept payment via health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts.
If you choose self-pay at check-in and pay at the time of your visit, you’ll receive a discounted bundle price that covers most services.
If you choose not to pay at the time of service, your visit will be billed after care is provided. In that case, charges are not bundled and are billed at standard self-pay rates.
You can walk in to get in-person care every day from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. There’s little wait time, and most patients can expect to get in and get out in under 40 minutes. You can also make an online reservation, check wait times or begin a virtual visit from anywhere.
In compliance with the state law of Illinois, our provider takes a 30-minute break that will start between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The exact timing of the lunch is coordinated during the lowest patient volumes to minimize delays. Please note that during this time, you may experience longer-than-usual wait times or minor delays in being seen.
If this is a medical emergency, or call 9-1-1 or get to the emergency department at a hospital near you.
