Join a Community of Caregivers
OSF Saint Paul is honored to work with caring individuals who volunteer their time, talent and treasure to make a positive difference in the health of our community.
We are always looking for individuals with warm hearts and helping hands to join the community of caregivers at OSF Saint Paul.
Volunteer opportunities for all ages are available. When you volunteer, you will work with others who have a passion for helping and being part of a positive, rewarding and fun experience.
OSF Saint Paul Medical Center Gift Shop
The OSF Saint Paul Medical Center Gift Shop is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The gift shop depends on volunteers to operate, and has a wide variety of gift items, cards and novelties for everyone.
Hospitality Ambassador
Hospitality ambassadors help create a welcoming, comforting experience for patients and visitors through personal, unhurried support. They serve as friendly guides by offering directions, answering questions and escorting individuals on foot or by wheelchair.
Volunteers may also support staff by visiting with patients, assisting with discharges or helping with small tasks throughout the hospital. Their support enhances the patient experience while allowing clinical teams to focus on delivering high-quality, individualized care.
Meals on Wheels
As a Meals on Wheels volunteer, you’ll bring more than just nutritious meals – you’ll provide a safety check and a much-needed human connection to homebound seniors. On the day of your shift, you’ll pick up pre-packaged meals and delivery route details from Nutrition Services at OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center in Mendota before heading out to make their deliveries. Volunteers use their own vehicles to bring meals directly to those in need.
