Cardiac imaging allows providers to take a close look at your child’s heart without any surgery. Using noninvasive tools like echocardiograms and MRIs, cardiac imaging providers can spot heart conditions, track how the heart is doing and create the best treatment plan.

Can you be sedated for an MRI?

Yes, sedation services are often available for children who may feel anxious or have trouble staying still during an MRI. Our caring team, including pediatric anesthesiologists, works closely with your child to help them feel calm and safe, ensuring the entire imaging process is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission evaluates and accredits health care facilities to ensure they meet rigorous standards for quality and care in medical imaging and procedures. Our IAC accreditation shows how dedicated we are to giving your child the best in heart imaging. We’re one of only three centers in Illinois recognized for both pediatric and fetal echocardiography. Fetal Z-Score Calculator

The Fetal Z-Score Calculator is a tool that helps doctors assess your baby's heart development during pregnancy. It uses measurements from an ultrasound to compare your baby’s heart size and structure to what’s typical for their age.
