Nurse Triage

To ensure safe and appropriate use of nurse triage services, the following calls are excluded:

• Current inpatients
• Patients calling from the emergency department

Calls from patients who are not actively established

• Flex coverage up or down with patient volumes instead of overbuilding a fixed schedule
• Cover nights, weekends and holidays without stretching on-site teams thin
• Provide safe, expert coverage at a fraction of the cost of an employed hospitalist
• Support recruitment and retention strategies with a hybrid model designed for variable census environments
