OSF Saint Katharine Medical Center, a trust healthcare provider in Dixon, Illinois, has served the community since 1897.
Formerly known as Katharine Shaw Bethea Hospital (KSB), the medical center was founded with a generous gift from Judge Solomon Bethea in honor of his late wife, Katharine Shaw. OSF Saint Katharine Medical Center is now an 80-bed acute care facility offering a wide range of services, including emergency medicine, obstetrics, inpatient psychiatry, cardiovascular care, outpatient surgery, intensive care, and more. In addition to the hospital, we offer a regional network of primary care clinics and a multi-specialty physician group.
The OSF HealthCare Foundation and its donors are pivotal in advancing the Mission of the Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis by supporting critical initiatives throughout the OSF HealthCare Ministry. The Foundation is dedicated to raising funds to invest in the future of health care in the Sauk Valley.
